Use TapNow in other Agents

Connect TapNow to the Agent you already work in, generate images and videos inside the conversation, and get every result in your TapNow canvas.

You are drafting a product plan in Claude and you need visuals. Instead of switching back to TapNow and describing the brief again, you ask for them in the same conversation. The images are generated and they land in your TapNow canvas.

This works over MCP, an open protocol that lets Agents call external services. TapNow runs its own MCP service, so any Agent that supports the protocol can connect to it.

What you can do once connected

What you can ask the Agent forResultUses Tapies
A hero imageOne description becomes one high-quality imageYes
A short videoOne description becomes a short video, or animates a still imageYes
A product shot setOne product photo becomes white-background, scene, angle and detail shotsYes
Deck visualsOne outline becomes a set of section images in a consistent styleYes

Generation costs the same Tapies as generating directly in TapNow.

Confirm the count and type before generating

An Agent can submit several generation tasks in a row. If you are not sure what a request will cost, ask it to plan first, for example "tell me how many images and which aspect ratio, then wait for my confirmation".

Where the results go

Every result lands in your own TapNow canvas, alongside anything you created in TapNow directly. The Agent includes a canvas link in its reply, so you can open it and keep refining, arranging or exporting.

The library is the same one too. Whatever the Agent can find is what you see in TapNow.

What you need first

  • A TapNow account. Generation uses this account's Tapies.
  • An Agent that supports MCP.
  • One browser sign-in to TapNow during setup. You do not sign in again afterwards.

Connect an Agent from the canvas

To let an external Agent continue work on the current canvas, open the connection entry from the canvas:

  1. On an editable canvas, select the plug icon Connect Agents at the top right to open the Open in Agent window. The first time you open an empty canvas, you may also see a connection card.
  2. Choose the Agent you use. The first time, follow the setup guide below to add the TapNow connector or official app, then sign in and authorize TapNow in that Agent.
  3. Select the open button for that Agent. Clients that support a draft place the prompt in the input field. Other clients need you to paste the copied prompt. You can also use a copy button in the window, open the Agent yourself, and paste.
  4. Check the prompt and the target canvas, then send it yourself. Opening the client, prefilling a prompt, or copying a prompt does not send a message or start generation.

The handoff prompt for the Agent you selected includes the current canvas. It asks the Agent to check the connection, find the canvas, then suggest creative directions for you to choose. If your client is not listed, select More Agents and copy the general setup prompt. After the connection is ready, tell the Agent which canvas to continue.

The Agents you can choose vary by site. Use the options shown in the window. Read-only shared pages and some tutorial canvases do not show this entry. Return to your own editable canvas to use it.
