Create text & 3D

Organize text on the canvas, use Agentic Previs to build a 3D scene and camera motion, and export an image or video.

Use text nodes for scripts, notes, and prompts. To check framing and camera motion before a finished video, open Agentic Previs from the canvas, let Agent build a 3D scene, then place the shot image or motion video back on the canvas and continue.

Text nodes

Use a text node for scripts, shot directions, prompts, and any writing you need to review or reuse.

Create a text node

  1. Select + in the left canvas toolbar;
  2. Choose a text node;
  3. Select the node and enter your content;
  4. Select text and use the Toolbar to apply headings, body text, bold, italic, or lists;
  5. Click an empty part of the canvas to leave text editing.

You can also double-click an empty area and choose a text node.

Preview 3D content first

When the canvas contains a 3D asset, panorama, or 3D scene, preview it before deciding whether to open a studio:

  1. Select the node and choose Preview in the toolbar.
  2. Drag to look around a panorama, drag to rotate a 3D object, or drag and use W, A, S, and D to move through a 3D scene.
  3. To keep the current view, select Open Viewfinder, then Capture. The photo appears directly on the canvas as an image node.
  4. To continue building the scene, select Use in 3D Studio. TapNow creates and opens a separate studio where you can add characters, 3D objects, and cameras or adjust the environment and lighting.

You can inspect a preview on a read-only canvas, but you cannot capture a photo or create a 3D Studio from it. Previewing, capturing the current frame, and entering a studio do not call a generation model. Generative tools used inside the studio consume Tapies based on the model and settings shown there.

Build a scene and camera motion with Agentic Previs

Use Agentic Previs to check character and scene placement, framing, and motion timing before you generate a finished video.

1. Open Agentic Previs

On a computer, open an editable canvas, select + in the left toolbar, then choose 3D Studio → Agentic Previs. After the new node appears, select Enter Studio to open a separate 3D workspace.

Director Desk in the same menu is a different entry. The steps below follow Agentic Previs. If the entry is locked, check the access message shown for your account.

2. Describe the scene and the shot

In the studio Agent field, describe what is in the scene, how the subject moves, how the camera moves, and how long it lasts. Agent creates or updates the scene from that description, and you can review the result in the studio.

Create a simple street scene: a person walks past a few buildings. The camera follows slowly from behind for 5 seconds.

To change one object, select it in the scene, then tell Agent what to move, replace, or delete. When you use Agent or a generative tool, Tapies follow the current model and the estimate shown on the page.

3. Play and adjust the camera motion

  1. Open Studio settings → Shooting, then select the shot to review under Shots.
  2. Under Camera motion, select one move, then select Play motion and watch the framing and movement from start to finish.
  3. To change it, tell Agent what to adjust, or select Edit camera motion to open the timeline. Select a keyframe, then change position, rotation, and the other settings.
  4. Play it again and confirm the subject stays in frame, and that the motion and duration match what you want.

If a list is empty, ask Agent to add a shot, then describe how that shot should move. The shot preview supports Original, 1:1, 9:16, and 16:9. After you change the frame, check the framing again.

Moving freely through the scene only changes where you are looking. It does not change the shot. Before you export, use the image in the shot preview.

4. Send an image or video back to the canvas

To keep one frame, pause the shot preview at that moment and open Export current frame:

  • Select Add current frame to Canvas to save the frame as a new image node.
  • Select Download current frame as PNG to save the image to your computer.

To keep a move, select the shot and a valid camera motion, then select Export video to Canvas. After the export finishes, select Open Canvas, play the new video node, and review the whole shot. This export includes only the camera motion you selected.

Exported images and videos are added to the canvas as new nodes. The studio node stays, so you can keep editing. If saving fails, select Retry save, then export after the save succeeds.

Import a model or save the scene file

If you already have a 3D model, open Model → Upload model at the top and choose one .gltf or .glb file. If TapNow asks for missing textures or other linked resources, select Add files, add those files, then select Add to scene. The scene saves automatically after you add them. The imported model plus its linked resources, and the merged scene, must each stay within 12 MiB.

To save the scene file, open More → Export scene (GLB) and download the current scene to your computer.
